I know that 89 is a full life, but this is still saddening to me all the same. Moore had apparently done voice work for an upcoming episode of DreamWorks's Troll Hunters before his passing.

Lovely, self-depreciating man. We did a tribute to him at Elstree Studios, where he'd naturally made The Saint TV series back in the day, as well as at least a couple of feature films and the later The Persuaders show nearby, and he was as cool as you'd expect.
My signed Saint DVD box just got that little bit more special too - a nice guy, a fun Bond, and a bizarre Clouseau...wonderful memories!

Not everyone's favourite Bond, perhaps, but he seemed so classy nonetheless. Hard to believe he was 89.
