DreamWorks buys Chapman library
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

(Eek...Just as long as WE don't get them, that's fine with me.The Chapman programs will be distributed through DreamWorks Animation’s UK-based TV distribution operation.
And before we get "What's wrong with UK kids' animation?", I'm reminded of the Weinsteins trying to sell the Magic Roundabout movie to US audiences.)

Um...no...
What you got was a recut, revoiced and ruined version called Doogal that was nothing like the Magic Roundabout movie we saw here.
I can't say this is the best of Brit TV animation, but DWs is clearly buying up lower cost brands so as to boost its core businesses and grow its stable of characters. I see more of this happening down the line and maybe even more in the way of distribution pickups for international animated films.
