The Boba Fett cartoon was actually quite excellent. It's the only part of the special I transfered from my VHS to DVD-R, and I agree that inclusion on a future TESB release would be great, but I doubt it.

Something I found out about today listening to the radio --

http://revver.com/video/1011988/bea-art ... ainst-kfc/

"You may have heard about the Colonel's secret recipe... Sadly, the main ingredient is cruelty!"

PETA provides a lot of great laughs by their over-the-top theatrics.

Too bad they fail miserably at actually accomplishing anything good for animals! Their strident activism pushes away most sensible people.

Remember -- the latest medical studies indicate that starving yourself of animal proteins (ie, meat) may actually shrink your brain! (If only that were a joke...)

Depending on your POV, this may have been one of Bea Arthur's last great performances! 8)

You don't have to see the video... Just listening to the audio is priceless.

RIP, Bea. I didn't agree with you on this subject, but you did provide me a good chuckle over the years nonetheless!

Hey all,
Just wanted to let you all know of the tragic passing of the actor and proficient voice actor, Dom Deluise, at the age of 75. His voice was heard in many animated films including the "An American Tail" series, "Oliver and Company", and "All Dogs Go to Heaven". You can read more about it here: http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/Movies/ ... index.html

I mainly knew his animation work (as well as a very funny appearence on The Muppet Show). He also played Dee Dee's imaginary friend on Dexter's Laboratory. He will be missed.

I am sad to hear this. Mr. Deluise was always one of my favorite voice actors and I loved him in the American Tail movies.

He was also the voice of Jeremy the Crow in The Secret of NIMH.

But, yes, I will always remember him fondly for (dun-dun-DUUUNNNN!) Captain Chaos!

This hits me hard.

This guy was an icon and one of the people I grew up watching in Mel Brooks' films and "The Cannonball Run."

Later, I heard his voice in several animated films and watched his sons follow him into acting.

Very, very sad but he lived a long and productive life.

RIP, Captain Chaos...

You guys should check out his cameo on The Cheap Detective. Very funny pastiche on Casablanca and the like.

Dom was brilliant, simply and effortlessly brilliant.

Darn.

He was a very talented, funny man, and seemed like a nice guy too. He just exuded fun, but had a tender side to his performance.
