How's it look now?askmike1 wrote:Note: The following is not a complaint...just a suggestion
For some reason, that yellow on the homepage (highlights the dates) does not really blend well with the rest of the site. Personally I think that an olive, brown, or dark teal would blend better. Just my opinion.

Thank you for your reply. Pleased to see 'Stupid Crimes' (?!?) making the importance list, James! Hmmm. Did you also notice that story came out a week ago? We save less news worthy stories for the weekends, when news is usually slower. If you are going to continue to complain about the site...

First of all, complaining about us probably is not the best way to get us to let you join the team! Second, you've only posted 4 times in this forum since we restarted it: 3 times to report something, and once to complain that we don't report good stuff like, for example, your three news items! (BTW...

Did anyone really think The Polar Express would beat The Incredibles? No! So let's look at the bright side for animation. The Polar Express is still on target for a $15-20 million opening! Thanks not too shabby! And The Polar Express will probably play through Christmas since it's a holiday movie. A...

As for the Imax question: The screen at this theatre was not the usual Imax square like shape - it was the normal Flat (rectangular) shape we see in regular movie screens (in a larger scale of course). I didn't notice if the curtain was obscuring part of the screen or not but it did not appear to be...

After months of complaining about the animation I finally saw the film today. And I apologize for most everything bad I've said about The Polar Express! It was very good! Let me add that I had low expectations for this film before going and I saw it in Imax 3D (BTW the film was obviously made with 3...

Your thoughts about The Polar Express?
I'm about to head and in a little bit to see it. A theatre just opened the first Imax screen in town (that shows Hollywood movies), so I'll be seeing it on the big big screen! How do they handle the difference in aspect ratio? Do they just cut off the sides? or stretch it vertically? Or is it shown ...
