Maybe it's the little boy in me, but I love that it's full of details and lots of moving things. That just adds to the world that they're trying to create, that of a completely mechanical world. It's fascinating!
I guess I'm not that easily distracted :P

The Incredibles dvd -- Can't wait!

Thanks, Christian, for those stills from the upcoming Incredibles dvd. I love that they're going to spoof the Superfriends; that is HILLARIOUS! Especially can't wait to see the Jack-Jack short. Man, this dvd is going to be something else, I can tell! :D

"But the success of a film is one's own personal opinion. Spider Man 2 did great at the b.o. but I didn't like it & wouldn't call it a success. On the other hand, I loved Brother Bear & Atlantis even though they did not do great at the b.o." --askmike1 With all due respect askmike1, success of a fil...

I will admit, knowing that Owen Wilson is doing the voice of the main character certainly is a big plus to me. I love Owen Wilson -- I think he is one of the funniest comic actors out there.

Most studios are lucky if their success/failure rate of making good movies is 50-50. Until their success rate dips below 70%, I don't see how anyone can say Pixar films don't pique their interest! You just summed it up pretty well! Because Pixar has such an incredible (no pun intended ) track...

Pixar's next feature CARS: What do you think?

I don't know, but I'm a little worried about Pixar's next film CARS . Nothing I have seen in the teaser nor anything I have read about the story has caught my interest. I'll still go see it (I have great faith in the people of Pixar :)) but I am a bit worried if it's going to measure up. What do you...

See? Doesn't the fact that just the character of Syndrome alone sparks a discussion show just how great a film The Incredibles is? It truly is the best animated film of 2004! :D

I hope people aren't going to dismiss the film just because the trailers "hype up" the big names involved. It's just typical of big studios to push these silly marketing techniques that play on our short attention spans as modern-day Americans by giving us quick, slickly edited sound bites and heral...

I so miss Dr. Katz. It used to be on every Sunday Night on Comedy Central (the animated block). It was Dr. Katz, the Critic, Bob and Margaret and Duckman. Oh, yes, I almost forgot about Bob and Margaret! I used to love that show, it was so funny, so good! What ever happened to it? Why did they canc...

Oh for cryin out loud! Obviously some people have nothing better to do than to try to find "hidden messages". I looked at it, and it doesn't look like it says anything. And there is certainly no way in HELL a 4-year old could've made out the words S-E-X out of what I just saw.

James, you're very perceptive indeed! I agree wholeheartedly: John Lasseter is very much so the "next Walt Disney" in spirit. Like Walt, Lasseter has a love and a knack for the creative side of the animated feature. He, too, knows how to tell a good story, or, at least, how a good story should be to...

 Wow, that was some harsh stuff said in that link. I understand the point made, and see where he or she is coming from, but I can't be that apathetic. I do [/b] care what they do to classic characters like Bugs because, before you know it, they'll have erased almost all memory of Bugs, Daffy,...

The problem I have with what they're doing is they're taking classic characters and desecrating them by changing everything they were that made them so beloved in the first place! My kids love Bugs Bunny. I haven't heard them saying,"Ya know what? This Bugs Bunny guy just ain't that funny. If he loo...

Well, again, I am sure it will come around again where you see songs that move the story along and not songs tacked on to sell singles for the top 40 countdown. I do wholeheartedly agree, The Little Mermaid (a personal favorite, music-wise), Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin all greatly surpass the ...

:x THIS LOOKS LIKE ABSOLUTE CRAP! What the hell?? Why don't they come up with something fresh? Re-inventing Bugs Bunny?? What kind of crack are they smoking at the WB? These big-wigs at the studios just don't get it
