Re: Looney tunes return to the big screen in new animated film!
I don't know what is even happening with this film. When is it going to be released? Genndy Tartakovsky's Fixed and Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim also haven't been marketed much. Fixed will probably die against The Wild Robot and Transformers: One , not to mention that Joker 2 comes out the...

Re: Manga & Anime THREAD
I never really liked Miyzaki's movies much, but I found the Nausicaa manga interesting.

Why did Miyazaki sell Studio Ghibli to Nippon instead of an overseas company?

Re: The state and future of animation
Why did animation studios have a "no sequel policy" through the 1990's. The existence of theatrical sequels like The Rescuers Down Under, Fievel Goes West, and All Dogs Go To Heaven 2 seem to show otherwise.

The Boy and the Heron probably won't be Miyazaki's last film.

Re: New VeggieTales Movie coming in 2026?
Is this all still with DreamWorks-slash-Universal? If so, it’s not a surprise. They’ve been riffling through any and all old properties they have a handle on and seeing how to revitalise them, hence the recent Puss, more Megamind and Shrek to come. Yet many on YouTube are up in flames over how chea...

New VeggieTales Movie coming in 2026?
Like everyone was clamoring for another VeggieTales flick? Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie came out almost 22 years ago, and has no real cultural impact. Sure, it may have made *some* money, but that was only because CGI animated features were still quite new back then. https://www.cartoonbrew.com/featur...

I heard that Alec Baldwin isn't going to return after his manslaughter incident on the set of Rust. Who will replace him, or will his character be written out of the story altogether?

Re: Warner+Discovery+Paramount!?
I am curious about Paramount and Universal's corporate relationship. I don't know much about it, but I do know that trailers for Universal films would be on the DVDs for Paramount films, and vice versa.

It's good to see original animated films doing well, since Ruby Gillman was largely ignored by the public.

Re: Indiana Jones And The New Disney Movies Thread
Everyone is complaining about how children watch those movies, all because they're PG. They should be changed, or let the government be in charge of rating movies.

Re: Indiana Jones And The New Disney Movies Thread
Then why didn't the first two movies have their ratings changed? They're still PG.
