Most animation in anime is done on ones, twos, or threes - anything slower will look decidedly jerky

It was definitely the beginning of an era. Before this movie, my brother forced me to watch Thor since I'd be introduced to a couple characters in The Avengers. Now I count the days until any MCU film is released.

after all of his minions got sent to the Phantom Zone and the World Machine got destroyed was so awesome. Shannon nailed it. I genuinely felt compassion for him right there. Imagine your whole life purpose just being completely destroyed by one dude and any hope of reviving your race gone.

You can't really go wrong with anything pre Justice League War. The Dark Knight Returns parts 1@2, and Batman and Superman Apocalypse are my personal favorites

Ratzenberger was the guard announcing the arrival of the suitors. I think this was the least amount of lines he got since The Incredibles, maybe even less.

I actually enjoy Tales from Earthsea. I think it's main obstacle is that it has such long source material that breaking it down is going to difficult for standard feature film length.
