I agree with y'all in that just because the movie has enough violence/sex/etc to bump its rating up does not mean it's more "mature." Far from it, actually... and it's actually part of my beef with "adult" cartoons. But at the same time, there are things that can't be properly portrayed at a lower r...

I'm not finding myself entirely revolted by the name somehow, though it is pretty uncreative. However, I can agree about Princess and the Goblin - my grandparents have that and I saw it several times as a young 'un... yet still can't quite remember what the heck happened in it... just that the "Prin...

*deep breath* Hoooookay. Here I go. ;) I get what Kevin's saying... the people at the blog misinterpreted him as saying CGI was a kiddie medium, while as Meg pointed out, he's ony observing that annoying preconception that's still mired in the general public's eyes. And I don't think he sees himself...

Hah! I still can't see Youtube stuff, but I can still sing that Ladybug Picnic song. X) Bud Luckey, y'say? That's cool... kinda like my Toy Story experience where the lamp showed up on the movie screen and I was thinking "Hah! I've seen that thing on Sesame Street!" I was 9, so that was all the Pixa...

Dunno if this is spoiler-tag worthy, but what the hey:
I thought for a second that the beach ball had killed Luxo Jr. instead of just knocking him out... that it had suffocated him or something. And I was distressed for about 30 seconds. ;)

Gah. If the features are good enough, I'll go ahead and get it... maybe just do my own cover and replace it. (:<

I'm cautiously optimistic abot OotP. I know it's impossible to condense a 900 page book to a 2 1/2 hour movie (which is why Eragon didn't even try and only adapted part of it, or so I've heard) so I honestly don't know if it'll be an okay film or a disaster. The first, second and fourth films were ...

My avatar is a blue cougar scribble... it's pretty self explanatory.

I have a new signature too, which is an adapted pencil drawing I did recently after discovering yet another '90s cartoon jewel. Can't believe I missed it the first time around. :P

Has anyone taken a look at "Foodfight!"'s character gallery? I know they're all supposed to represent different products, but shouldn't the character design have at least a little cohesion?

And their site is kinda tacky. I'm kinda surprised this thing is getting a theatrical release, to be honest. :|

I must admit, from the images out there alone I'm very eager to learn more about Kung-Fu Panda. Here's hoping that the previews won't ruin my very good first impressions. Wall-E sounds interesting, but I want to learn more about it... that will make the difference between "ugh" and "when is it comin...

I dunno, I like it. Probably because he actually looks male in this one (the cover for the 4th book still throws me off because Harry looks like a girl with a short haircut). And I'm sure that, like most of the covers, it will make perfect sense after we read the book... But the way this cover is se...

Youtube, noooo... :P

I'll have to scour some other (hopefully not blocked-on-my-network) video sites for some of this footage. I've been hooked since the teaser came out with Cars and am still hungry for more...

Yeah, I'd heard about that. Pity they won't be releasing full 26-episode seasons, but it's better than having to hunt down 8 discs with only 3-4 episodes each. It's a good series that's been sorely overlooked just because it wasn't the old Turtles. But around 80% of the episodes adapt original comic...
