If I see this it all, it would only be because I'd want to check out how they do the animation. Though what they had in the teaser trailer looked like it came out of a video game to me. Honestly, the gap between video game quality and film quality is quickly decreasing, from what I can see. However...

It hasn't been announced on any official sites as far as I know, but it's going around (from a reasonably reliable source) that the full TMNT trailer is slated to premier in theaters in front of Eragon on December 15.

So stay tuned. :)

When my mom called this week, she said she got the Cars DVD. To the protesting of my younger siblings. "Wait for the special edition!" they said.

I've taught them well. :D

Haha. I'd heard about this, but never seen it. It's like... all my childhood memories, mashed into one cartoon. Muppet Babies, Ninja Turtles (only Mikey though, 'cos he was the popular one  ), the Chipmunks, Garfield... and done pretty true-to-style, too! I love it! Though it's fun to sit back...

I agree, the texture on the T-rex is kinda weird. But it made me smile when he waved his arms while he was making his excuses. :)

This... may be worth a watch, after all. I'll be eagerly awaiting it.

You have to admit Surf's Up set up more than Happy Feet, though. ;)

I still don't know what to think of it, but all's I know is my first impression was better. Though it would have to be almost unfathomably awesome to beat the Madagascar penguins. That was one part of the movie I did like.

My butt's in the seat for TMNT, but y'all knew that. And I think some of my animation buddies are looking forward to it, too. I don't think it'll be a flop, but it won't get anywhere near Pixar/Dreamworks numbers, unless it turns out to be 1) unexpectedly awesome and word spreads, or 2) the right th...

I suppose it was one of those girl-finds-out-Dad-isn't-a-total-moron moments. Squishy, but not misty-eyed worthy.

Holy cow, that wasn't even English. :P

I love "American Tail," "Land Before Time," and "Balto" ... hrm... I'll vote Land Before Time because I've loved that one since I was tiny, though all of these are classics. Balto has a great soundtrack and good animation (though as much as I love the film, it irks me that they say "based on a true ...

Well, I thought Madagascar would be the greatest thing ever, and came away sorely disappointed. ;) Best to go in with low expectations, because if it's good it'll be a great surprise, and if it's mediocre I won't be too disappointed.

But the issue in "The Incredibles" was that Bob had not accepted not being a superhero anymore while Helen had adapted to having a normal life. She's all about the family, while Bob is reckless about living in hiding. I don't really see how you can't call Helen a strong heroine. :D That's mainly my...

I'm not one of those people who sits and analyzes movies for how strong the female characters are... sure, I like strong women in movies, but it's not a huge deal to me, so long as the characters overall are good. That said, I really would like to see a good strong (even main character?!) woman in a...

On one hand, I'm thinking "yay... more bugs " but on the other, I'm pumped about seeing a character voiced by Seinfeld. This could be entertaining, if it's handled right.

Even though it has very little to do with anything else, my favorite part of this special is Snoopy as the World War I flying ace. Of course, pre-jet warplanes fascinate me, so... :D

I'll have to remember to watch this.

I enjoyed Over the Hedge at least as much as Cars, for the record. Maybe even more, but I can't accurately judge that because I haven't seen either since the month they came out in theaters. I do remember giving DW a very hearty commendation for the look of the movie - that fur is reach-into-the-scr...
