The main characters in Spirit didn't talk, which I appreciated. Now, there was narration and the human characters did talk, but I think that's an indicator that if done well, the film wouldn't necessarily need dialogue.

Lion King maybe be vying for my "favorite Disney movie" spot, but the one I like best as a musical is Beauty and the Beast.

They're kidding, right? Please tell me this is a joke. "Much needed sexual elements" in The Hobbit ?! Um, between who? The dwarves? Bilbo? Gandalf? Gollum? There's mostly guys in the story... And then we move on to the fact that it's Michael Bay... X| He'd manage to find a way to stick an exploding ...

I've seen maybe one or two episodes in my life... it was funny stuff, but I've never gone out of my way to watch it. And somehow, it doesn't really bother me that I haven't. *shrug* Heh, the "crazy Dave and his 'talking chipmunks'" might be a cool take on things. Though the more I think about it, th...

Fish Out of Water was vaguely cute, but I found the rest of Chicken Little to be pretty flat. The only scenes I really remember were with the fish character, and the fact that the movie was dangerously close to being another one of those "psst, hey kids! You know wayyyyy more than your parents do, s...

That's the first thing I thought, too... Mars rover, or something. Hmm, another vehicle, eh? He really doesn't look like much; he'll have to have one heck of an awesome personality to be relatable. That was just my initial reaction, of course... I know Pixar is capable of pulling it off. Question is...

Well, from what I understand, you could rewatch something like Disney's Robin Hood for the first time in years and review it. Doesn't have to be current films, which is what the movie-specific threads usually deal with.

I do like the design for this movie, from what I've seen. And if they nail the story, it'll probably be great fun. This guy looks sweet - huzzah for big cats!

I could just be a sucker for animals that practice martial arts. :P

Live action/CGI?! Hm. My initial reaction is "Nononononononononono" but then I thought about it for a second. The original Chipmunks sang and interacted with their human owner/friend/thing, right? That could work in live action/animation, at least a lot better than Garfield did. (Jon as a human I co...

There still is a newer TMNT cartoon, so it's not quite "old news." And it was actually a very good cartoon at that, until they decided to dumb it down and kiddify it this new season... which completely ruined it. So much so that I didn't watch past the first three episodes. It's not the same show, m...

OK, back... for a double post. :? It's been reported on the official site that Klaus Badelt will indeed be scoring TMNT. I know nobody really cares but me, but there ya go. :P Also: there are some pretty sweet new images that have been released, probably without permission. The director has confirme...

I very disliked that movie. I was so disapointed, when the secret about NIMH thing was just this laboratory.... The book was much better in that aspect... there really wasn't a "secret" in the story at all (which is why the word doesn't appear in the original book title), just a "hey, these rats ar...

Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck... I grew up on that stuff. And what I've seen of Gargoyles looks amazing. Someday I'll have to find the first season DVD online.

They seriously named the guy Prince Humperdink?

Shouldn't William Goldman be upset, or am I just confused?
