Well, it could be that people from the UK (like you Ben) like it more because it's made in England and based on the English culture. The original voices are pure english too...
That's probably the reason why KinOO has a different opinion about it
As good as Valiant sounds, I don't think Disney should have placed their "Walt Disney Pictures" label on it. With Chicken Little on the way, I think a lot of people will be confused by this one. They will probably this movie is the first CGI feature of Disney and not Chicken Little. To make it short...
Well, from the moment I saw something about sequels as a TOP STORY, I knew it was an april fools joke Anyway, it was a funny and interesting story you made up! I actually like it in some ways
I'm not saying all sequels are entertaining... I'm saying that you shouldn't generalize them and be a little more positive. It will make your life a whole lot easier and less frustrating! I always say "[insert title] IS great, unless proven otherwise". That's just my 2 cents
Kinoo wrote:i better see them make masterpieces without Disney.
I really REALLY don't see them (and don't want to see them) independent or with another distributor. To me, Pixar films are a part of Disney. It would be a great loss for both companies. They need each other (yes they do KinOO ).
This is not about saying "AMEN" to everything Disney does. Most people here are smart enough NOT to judge a movie before it's released. And besides, where is all this "no sequels" thing coming from? Movies are entertainment, so why can't they entertain you some more? Disney could and still can enter...
The animation was a big part why I didn't like the movie, but the bigger part was the amount of forced emotion in the movie. I mean, most sequels have a bit of forced emotions, but Hunchback II really was full of it. And I can't stand that...
Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest is confirmed to have a theatrical release in all Europe. I would be suprised if only Europe will get this theatrical release and the US a DTV release... Altough the trailer for Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest in the US says "Coming to DVD & Video Spr...
I don't think anyone has the right to say this will be a bad movie or a good one... You can have an opinion about something, but I think it has to be a constructive opinion and to be constructive you can't base yourself on a trailer (or these stills). They only gave us an impression of the movie. I ...
A big BOO (and not the scare boo, the other boo) to the people that are taking down this midquel by the footage of this trailer... I KNOW it is not going to be like the original, every sequel is... The thing is... If they would release Bambi (the original movie) in theatres now it would bomb. Bambi ...
I don't see it  That picture does have Bambi in all his cuteness though, and I think that's what they are going to aim for in this movie too. Alexander Gould is doing the voice for Bambi, and I bet that will make Bambi even MORE attractive (as Alexander's voice is seen as a cute voice by the p...
I think the story will be good, but I'm really not sure. As I said before, I didn't really see the preview myself. I do think tha the stories are getting better every time on a DTV title. They are more thought-out and elss predictable. I guess the DisneyToon Studios are really learning their bussine...
I also agree with you Christian. I think people just expect too much from something that can never live up to their expectations. Now... the update... This will probably be the last media update that you can view in the old screenshot system. I'm going to put up the Media Center tomorrow. But as I c...
Well, on Disc 1 there's a trailer of about 15 seconds to promote the February 2006 theatrical release. On Disc 2 there's a 5 minute featurette showing some of the development, interviews with the voices of Bambi and Thumper (Alexander Gould and some other young boy) and movie footage between those t...
