Re: Tintin: live action or undead?
Remember, Speilberg is Zemeckis protege. And Speilberg has never done anything in animation worth watching--like Zemeckis. Why would anyone expect anything different? It looks awful. And no, motion capture is not "animation." Animation means to "breath life into." Not to "move around" like a zombie....

It's crap...I've seen it.
Look, I've seen a copy of this already. Let's just say I live in Burbank. It's garbage from top to bottom. The only folks who will like it are those who really loved Cinderella 2 and Hunchback 2. The animation in Bambi 2 is almost as good as those two. It's a touch better than Lady and the Tramp 2 a...

That looks absolutely hideous. The animation looks crappy, the drawings are weak and ugly, and the colors and the backgrounds are cheap knockoffs--not the lovely oil paint and gouche backgrounds of the original. Not to mention the music doesn't sound quite like the great Oliver Wallace--but more lik...

Well, "The Incredibles" is pretty much a lock for Best Animated film. And it might get nominated for Best Film, which it is. I don't think it'll get a music nomination, because the score was just not very good. But sound editing, sound mixing for sure. Hopefully it'll get a nomination for writing an...

Horrible doesn't begin to explain this film
Couldn't agree more. I was at the premiere, and suffering through that pile of doggie doo and then having to be nice about it at the party afterwards was grating. It's simply a horrible movie. As a play it was shlocky fun, but the movie is horrible. Let's hope Sam Mendes doesn't screw up "Sweeny Tod...
