Re: Disney Planning Live Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers Movie

Sure there were movies before Scooby Doo that combined animated characters with live action actors but I meant that Scooby Doo popularized the concept. It's like after Scooby Doo became a huge hit with audiences, there was this sudden wave of films that remade classic cartoons with famous actors and...

Re: How to Train Your Dragon 2

The animation also seems even better than the first film's animation and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Re: X-Men: First Class

If it turns out to be false accusations, even if he never directs another X-men movie, I don't think it will be the end of Bryan Singer's movie career. Woody Allen films are still winning awards in spite of the allegations against him.

Re: Disney's Frozen

I love the Frozen soundtrack and Let It Go but I feel like we're going to regret overplaying the soundtrack to death years from now.

Re: Disney Planning Live Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers Movie

I just don't know why every remake of a classic kids' cartoon has to be one of these hybrid films. I remember when they used to be animated like The Jetsons Movie and Duck Tales The Movie. I blame it on Scooby Doo.

Re: Muppets Most Wanted

I love the Muppets and I'm looking forward to this. Believe it or not, I don't think I've actually seen a Muppets movie in theaters before. It's always been a TV experience for me.

Re: Disney's Frozen (formerly Snow Queen) 2013

I've been listening to the Animation Addicts podcast review of Frozen and they were talking about the plot holes in the film. Do you think Disney left these plot holes open on purpose for a potential sequel? Has Disney said anything yet about making a sequel?

Re: Disney's Frozen (formerly Snow Queen) 2013

I just went to see Frozen earlier this week and I've turned into a major fanboy of it. I loved absolutely everything about it, from the impressive animation to the songs like The First Time In Forever and Let It Go. I even enjoyed the Olaf character even though his presence in the early trailers mad...

I hope this is better than the horribly dull Sonic X.

Re: comic strips discussion

My favorite comic strip has always been Peanuts but I might just start getting hooked on Heavenly Nostrils. I have an app on my cell phone that delivers daily comic strips straight to my phone everyday for free. It's called the GoComics app. I highly recommend it for all your comic strip needs.

Re: Animated Movies Getting Longer?

I think the closest we have to a three hour animated movie is Avatar but even that movie mixed in live-action actors and was aimed at an older audience than the family friendly audience. My ideal epic animated film would be if Disney made a three hour animated remake of The Chronicles of Pydrain tha...
