Re: Moana (Live Action Remake)
I think we'll get the live Frozen prequel before that. And the live Zootopia. Strange World is going to knock our socks off, with the added sex scenes and everything…

Re: Moana (Live Action Remake)
You know what they should do? They should make an animated movie out of that Snow White movie they put out a few months back! Yeah, I’d see that. Would be interesting to see them do a live-to-animated way round instead to shake things up. They could even go *really* retro and do it like in hand-draw...

From many different (but not quite all — curses!) eras to boot!

Re: Animated Views Celebrity Obituary Thread
Drew signed every poster! ;) Very, very sad at this news, hence why we posted it to the front page. I’m glad to have several Drew posters hanging in our home cinema foyer at the moment, including his Muppet Caper one that remains my forum avatar (left). Thank-you, Mr Struzan…an exceptional and excep...

Re: Another Tom and Jerry in the works!
This looks like another of those bonkers "foreign" features, but it actually doesn’t look too bad. The timing is kinda there, even if that high-contrast shading takes some getting used to! Could be fun.

Re: The Simpsons Movie
I love that they started on the first movie twenty years after they first started the show, and that this one will also be twenty years after the first one. Looks like the trilogy-capper is a few years off yet…!

Re: Demon Slayer The Movie Hit At Overseas Box Office!
For a film deemed to be the one to (re)launch a massive franchise, Superman really didn’t do that well, did it? Should have been top three or at least top five, and even that isn’t what Warners would have wanted. As much as (some) people liked it, no-one *loved* it, and audiences didn’t return for s...

Re: YouTube Goodness
Well, at least this one looks a little different to the usual kind of CGI comedy fare thesedays, which might be just about enough to make it feel a bit fresher, even if all these films are starting to blend into one more and more, with similar designs, plots and characters. But, wow…from Rex Steele:...

Re: YouTube Goodness
Always great to see such well-crafted stuff from our enormously talented UK animation community, especially when it’s done so well, has something to say, and makes such an impact as intended. Thanks for sharing this.

Re: Li(ve)lo & Stitch
Thought I’d post my "capsule review" (!) here, which I’d previously sent to James and Rand in emails and a couple of other friends via text… I watched the new Lilo & Stitch this week and found it hyper, soulless and empty; a vacuous and emotionless going-through-the-motions of translating something ...
