Character Animation Noms...
I'm shocked they didn't nominate anyone from Blue Sky or Disney in the Character Animation category. Just shocked..??? Especially, when most years they've been nominating Pixar's best animators. I kinda feel like this year the "award" has been cheapen'd a little. AND in the same breath I thi...

 uhhh,....yeah. I think I have a lot to learn about this site. I definitely popped off with unjustified hostility. I thought I was definitely reading between the lines. [Note to self: stop listening to the voices in your head] One thing I think influenced my initial reason for writing is all ...

In retrospect, the title of this thread is a bit harsh and unfair, I don't believe anyone here is anti-disney. In that case I should have entitled it: "So you didn't like Chicken Little..." And maybe you did like Chicken Little and I'm wrong there too, but alls I'm saying is the stories and posting ...

Thank you Mickey for taking the time to answer my question. The activity or timeliness of news posts does "appear" to be bias. Not that it is intentional, but it appears that way. I did consider that it was likely to do with personal time and priorities. And I have seen times when there's no posting...

I don't see what's so biased about the news article. Okay, to be specific, I find the recent news post "Little suffers big drop in third weekend" (Reporting on Friday earnings), to be completely gratuitous. What's the need for a friday earnings post for a third weekend anyhow? Why wasn't there a Fr...

Re: Animated News - An Anti-Disney Site?
If the opinions that you are talking about are on the forum, then I don't understand why you're slamming the site. The forum is essentially for discussing our opinions on animated news that appear on the main page, which is primarily the unbiased place to get animation industry news (as far as I'm ...

Right. I must be joking. Gees Meg, just look where the effort is being made. No offense. I just don't think a "news" site should be favoring this or that. They have a responsiblity to everyone who reads this site to post on events as they happen , and not wait for the news they want and then post it.

Animated News - An Anti-Disney Site?
Interesting to me, how this site, being an "animation news" site, appears to be posting a rather negative pattern of information regarding Disney. A glaringly obvious example of this is how Disney's Chicken Little has had two posts for it's third weekend box office results up against Harry Potter. A...

Re: characters..
*random observation* When Buck Cluck (CL's dad) was driving round in his little car did anyone else feel like they were watching The Incredibles for a second??? Yeah I can see how they might feel similar. That shot was finished well before The Incredibles was in theaters. That's quite a compliment ...

characters..
As for least favorite, I found it hardest to relate to Runt. His proportions and animation just seemed off and inconsistent to me - the bulk was less than superbly animated IMO. Also his character just never seemed to develop. Actually I'm not sure it was ever thoroughly established. Thanks Brandon...

For those that have seen the film, regardless if you liked it or not, which character appealed to you most? (I've been hearing many people pefered "Fish-out-of-Water". ) And which character(s) were least appealing? (was it the design? voice? or animation?) I'm super curious about this. (oh and the b...

Chicken Little clucks at the BoxOffice
Chicken Little estimated at $40 million opening weekend - www.boxofficemojo.com. Wow. There should be some celebrating at Disney on Monday, no doubt. Thought the movie was 'eh',...fun. I think they did a smashing job, animation wise, especially for a first time CGI studio. Congratulation to all the ...
