Re: WB Archive Collection: Discs On Demand!
Yes, I posted this on the main page on Dec. 11. I'm really excited to see these again! And I probably never saw most of them back in the day. Cross another grail off the list. Warner Archive did great for us this past year, and I look forward to more announcements from them for 2026. Already, Looney...

And now sci-fi collector supreme Bob Burns! Now him, I only wish I could have met and visited with! He was truly one of us, if we could only have all the cool stuff he did. He really kept the flames of fandom burning, and helped to celebrate the films we love. RIP.

And now Gil Gerard, at 82. Dang. He really was great as Buck Rogers. I met him a few years ago, and he seemed like a pretty good guy. RIP.

Re: Animated Views Celebrity Obituary Thread
That vile man only proved Reiner was right about him. Points well taken, but I will not waste more digital ink on that despicable human being. Let's talk about Rob and Michele. Such tragic news. From what I am reading, the son returned to the home recently, but had been fighting with his dad the nig...

Elio. You bought the disc, but watched it on D+ instead, because it didn't "deserve" a projector showing. Thought that was funny.

Re: Golden globe animated movie nods 2025
I see Zootopia 2 winning, but I'm not excited about any of this year's films.
So, Ben bought a disc, and didn't watch it out of spite? That's messed up.

Yep, it ain't over! And there may be more twists and turns yet. I hate the idea of any further mergers, but it's fascinating to see things develop.

Re: Comic Book Discussion
If I didn't have the Super Friends hardcovers already, I'd be all over this. The DC Finest books are a great format. (I just finished reading Metamorpho.)

Re: Netflix wins WB bid war!
Netflix won, we lost. It's not a final thing, though, as Ben stated. The government may yet intervene on monopoly grounds. Even if this goes through, it's hard to say exactly what will happen. But I am not optimistic. All of these mergers are bad for the consumer, and they always result in job losse...

Predictable, yet fully astonishing. And very welcome.
