Supposedly there is a "behind-the scene" /"new footage" in Disney Channel US this week.

This isn't true, as the film has confirmed Dev Patel in the lead. You're right. Except the Fire Nation was supposed to be based on Southeast-Asian/Chinese culture. Not that I have any problem with Patel, he's obviously a good actor and a better choice than Jesse Mccartney, I just wish they'd casted...

No offense but I believe Avatar's creators must not have enough faith in their own animation skills therefor they went for a "anime style" As an otaku, I'm offended by what you just said. Love the movie. It's flawed in parts but I thought the art direction and songs were awesome.
