Re: Disney's The Princess and the Frog
Style? Disney's feature films have always tried to be anything other than (i.e. better than) cartoons, I don't think they would ever purposely go for a cartoony style. I may actually not like many modern Disney films, but I doubt it would be (all) because of the animation. Atlantis, Treasure Planet...

Re: Disney's The Princess and the Frog
Hey Ben , and any other animation experts, what did you think of the animation in the trailer? Especially compared to the past films, and the DTV's, and the sequels. Hope you get to answer this one, I really want to know what you think about this important subject, though there's always hope the mo...

I like it. What you have to take into consideration is the time period in which this song is set in; it has a very New Orleans sound to it, whether or not it resembles a song from other fairy tales is a personal opinion, but it has to also be unique, bland songs do not last with an audience. Also, I...

Re: Disney's The Princess and the Frog
I mean they might forget how they did it the Disney way. I don't want 2-D to just be the same 2-D for every compamy. Disney pushed the envelope and developed their own techniques and tricks and teachings. I understand what you are getting at, but what you have to realize is that with each feature, ...

Going back to scofo's comments (nice to see you drop in!) and I agree...I got a nice warm and fuzzy feeling looking at those crocs. Whatever they look, they feel old-school Disney, and that's a good thing. Although I agree with what scofo said, I should point out to him that, while techni...

Ok guys, I wasn't going to jump into this, knowing I will get blasted for what I am going to say, but whatever. First of all, animators don't just "forget" how to animate 2D, it's not like a machine or a program that keeps updating, it's a pencil and paper, and the fundamentals are STILL being used ...

Re: Pixar's WALL-E
Don't know if this has been mentioned before, too many pages to read...but... I don't think WALL-E or his other trash-picking robot comrades are designed right. What I mean is their eyes permanantly look sad. That means their eyes will never be able to express anger, happiness, surprise, or any oth...

For all the people who will not read the entire review I give it 10/10! I think it is the BEST animated movie I have ever scene. The characters were animated realistically. By far my favorite characters would have to be Edna Mode, Elastigirl, Violet and Dash. Why not add Jack Jack in there. They wer...
